Bag-O-Tricks: Creative Interventions for
Children
This workshop is designed for the beginner to
intermediate play therapist and will be centered around learning a variety of
play therapy techniques as well as reviewing foundation skills when working with
children. This workshop will allow participants to gain hands on experience in
MANY play therapy techniques ranging from creative art exercises, experiential activities, and directive techniques. Rehearsal of activities will be encouraged to facilitate the learning process.
Participants will be able to identify:
- Foundation Skills and Basic Theories
- Therapeutic Powers of Play
- Games for Feeling Identification and Expression
- Activities for Anger Management
- Games for Problem Solving
- Activities for Parent Training

The National Board for Certified Counselors
(NBCC) and The
National Association for Play Therapy (APT) recognize Healing KIDZ, Inc. as an
